Step 1: In Home Consultation

An in-home consultation is a crucial initial step in the process, providing an opportunity for you and our team to discuss the project, assess the space, and establish the foundation for the upcoming work. Here's what to expect during such a consultation:

  • Introduction and Discussion of Goals
  • Walkthrough of the Space
  • Client Input and Questions
  • Discussion of Budget
  • Portfolio or Previous Work
  • Feasibility and Constraints
  • Timeline and Project Phases
  • Contractual and Legal Aspects
  • Open Communication Channels

By the end of the in-home consultation, homeowners can expect to have a clearer understanding of the remodeling process, potential costs, and the steps involved in bringing their vision to life.

Step 2: Estimate & Signature Process

The estimation and signature process in a remodeling project involve assessing project costs, providing clients with estimates, and obtaining their approval before proceeding with the actual work of a detailed design. Here's a brief overview of what we cover during this phase:

  • Initial Assessment
  • Material & Labor Cost Calculation
  • Contingency Planning
  • Scope of Work Clarification
  • Legal Compliance
  • Project Timeline
  • Payment Terms
  • Client Approval & Signatures

Step 3: Finishes & Design Selections

The design phase of a remodel project is a critical stage where the conceptual vision is translated into detailed plans and specifications. This phase sets the foundation for the entire project, guiding subsequent construction and implementation.

Key activities during the design phase include:

  • Project Assessment
  • Conceptualization
  • Space Planning
  • Schematic Design
  • Material & Finishes Selection
  • Technical Documentation & 3D Renderings
  • More Detailed Cost Estimations

Client Approval: Once the schematic design and technical documentation are complete, clients review and approve the final plans. Any necessary revisions are made to ensure alignment with the client's vision and budget.

Step 4: Ordering & Purchasing Phase

The ordering and purchasing phase of a remodel project is a crucial aspect of the overall process, as it involves procuring the materials, fixtures, and furnishings necessary to bring the design vision to life.

Steps We Complete During This Phase:

  • Material Orders
  • Vendor Selections
  • Purchase Orders
  • Lead Time Management
  • Budget Management
  • Quality Assurance
  • Communication & Coordination
  • Delivery & Inventory Management
  • Contingency Planning

The successful execution of the ordering and purchasing phase contributes significantly to the overall efficiency and timeliness of the remodel project. A well-managed procurement process ensures that the right materials are available when needed, minimizing disruptions and contributing to the successful completion of the construction phase.

Step 5: Construction Phase

The construction phase of a remodel is a critical stage in transforming a design concept into a tangible and functional space. This phase involves the actual physical implementation of the planned changes, turning architectural drawings and plans into a reality. Key activities during the construction phase include:

  • Demolition & Structural Work
  • Electrical & Plumbing Installations
  • Framing & Drywall
  • Painting & Overall Finishing Work
  • Quality Checks, Inspections & Final Touches

Handover: Once all work is finished, the renovated space is handed over to the client. This marks the end of the construction phase, and the beginning of the occupancy or utilization phase.
